SCAN-NAV è un "sistema integrato" di monitorizzazzione di stati e dati di una imbarcazione. Il suo nome è l'acronimo di SCANner NAVale, e il suo comportamento è simile ad uno scanner attivo.
SCAN-NAV utilizza "sensori attivi & passivi" tradizionali e custom. Analizza con un processo di scanning tutti i dati che rileverà, li elaborerà correlandoli e li presenterà su uno o più monitor conformemente al software installato.
Potrà ricevere o trasmettere dati da qualunque tipo di sensore fisicamente a bordo e da fuori bordo. Tali "rice-trasmissioni" potranno avvenire tradizionalmente (con cavo elettrico o fibra ottica) o via radio.
Tutti questi dati serviranno a visualizzare situazioni e stati fisici e geografici presenti, passati e .. futuribili, dell'imbarcazione sulla quale è installato.
Situazioni che, oltre ad essere continuamente archiviate all'interno di SCAN-NAV in modo intelligente, potranno essere trasmesse in altro luogo anche fuori bordo.

SCAN-NAV è: più di un centro di navigazione, più di un data logger evoluto, più di qualsiasi sistema integrato oggi disponibile in campo.

SCAN-NAV is an "integrated system" of monitoring of states and data of a boat.
Its name is the acronym of NAVal SCANner, and its behaviour is similar to an active scanner.
SCAN-NAV uses "active & passive sensors" traditional and custom. It analyses, with a scanning process, all the data that it will detect, it will elaborate them correlating them and it will show them on one or more monitors, accordingly to the installed software.
It could receive or transmit data from whatever type of sensor physically on board, and from out of board. Such "rice-transmissions" can happen traditionally (with electric cable or optic fibre) or by radio.
All these data will serve to visualise situations and physical and geographical states present, passed and … that will happen, of the boat on which it is installed.
Situations that, besides to be continually filed at the inside of SCAN-NAV in an intelligent way, could be transmitted also in other places, even out of board.
SCAN-NAV is: more than a centre of navigation, more than an evolved date logger, more than any available integrated system today in field.
